Through this feedback, I would like to answer a few questions for those individuals showing interest in GBP: 1) What did I come to know from this test The report certainly sheds light on the reasons behind some aspects of my life that I find challenging and others that I find interesting. The 6 page report shares a variety of categories through which my genetics have been assessed. For someone who has been exposed to concepts (or science as one could call it) like astrology and numerology at a young age, GBP was easier to give into without skepticism. Personally, I feel benefited from the counselling which was conducted post the GBP assessment. How the report is shared with the subject, is more important than what the result says. I am lucky to be counselled by Mrs.Bhuvana Pashupathi who genuinely wishes well for me. 2) How is it helping me? I have always been curious about knowing myself better and working on feedbacks in order to improve wherever possible. Through this report, such a personal understanding has only improved and the counselling has given me tips on better tackling my personal bottlenecks. 3) How would students benefit from this report? Would I recommend it to anyone? As a school student I myself had lack of clarity towards my career, and coming from an Indian cultural background where many parents find pride in bringing up a doctor or an engineer, it was quite easy for me to fall into the trap. Hence, I have an engineering degree with no experience in the respective field and I see myself currently changing my field. A GBP at the time could have helped me and my parents to better understand my career options based on my interests and my potential and the counselling could have helped the whole family to be on the same page. Thus, I would recommend GBP to all students who are either unaware of their career objectives or are finding it difficult to convince their parents towards their interests.
